KOKOPELLI BISTRO, SEKSYEN 14

April 9, 2011 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 2 Comments

Kokopelli Bistro was located in one of the bungalows opposite the Jaya 32 Square. The set up was spacious, especially the outdoor area, and graffiti drawings adorned the walls. The place is kinda romantic and there are lovely oldies which is played during the meals. And what so special is it is a 100% Halal bistro that does not serve alcohol. The menus is not really so much to choose but they still offers many styles of delights from Noodles, Pizzas, pastas and western. The visit here is with a food and travel blogger YH

The infamous Char Koay Teow is my order. It looks like is said to be the shop signature dish, so I think is a MUST. Served with prawns, cockles, bean sprout and chives. The noodle was stir fried with enough ‘wok hei’ and giving it a springy and smooth texture without drowning it in oil.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 10.90

Seafood Gratin where it is served with prawns, white fish, calamaries and bachemel sauce is served together. The portion is small and the taste is simply cheezy. For cheese lover, they would love it so much
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 15.90

Pollo, a choice of pizza which comes with chicken pieces and pineapples. Thin skin pizza with generous cheese and chicken pieces is indeed temptating.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 18.90

Terrible place. Owner bloody rude. Was told off having count money on another unoccupied table during closing hours in fear that we’d mess up his table. Friends child was told off cause he touched the deco. Was told by the owner wish that we’d never go there again. Bloody terrible joint
