RESTAURANT FOONG YEAN, TAMAN TUNAS

June 27, 2010 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Foong Yean Restaurant opened not too long served restaurant food with a reasonable price. The restaurant is located along Jalan Tengah which is a couple of blocks away from May bank. The shop usually packed during dinner time and weekends and special season (Mother Day, Father Day). It is serving an authentic Chinese Cuisine.

“Four Heavenly King” is one of the dishes we ordered. The names are simply attractive where it makes me think of the four HK top artists- Leon Lai, Jackie Cheung, Andy Lau and Aaron Kwok. But I do think this is. This is the combination of 4 types of vegetables which are long beans, French beans, brinjal and lady finger.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 9.00

Braised Seafood Cucumber in Mushroom– The taste is quite delighting and the portion is kinda of small one. The Sea cucumber taste delighting and a much of too little
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 15.00

Indonesia Prawn in Claypot- a spicy one I can say but the spiciness is not above par. Overall, the taste is still delighting but a bit sweet.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 15.00

Clay pot chicken with special sauce and Chinese wine– a special dine which is quite similar to the one in Xian Ding Wei. With the wine added into the meal, it make a delighting meal smells good and tasty. The dish is indeed a delighting one and i really fall in love with it.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 16.00

Food Type: Non Halal
Payment Options: Cash + Credit Card
