Famous Penang Road Chendol, Komtar Walk

May 5, 2010 by StrawberrY Gal

Penang Road Famous Chendol has opened his branch in Komtar Walk. Their customer had been so much that they had other option places for customer to get a taste of their chendol not only morning but night as well. This time back Penang, I had make my visit to KOMTAR walk to enjoy the famous Teochew Chendol.

What we ordered? Fried Carrot Cake or is called char koay kak is one of the order. The fried carrot cake taste is quite nice and delighting. The portion is a bit small but the taste is nice and yummy. You can find big prawns in it as well.

As for the Penang Chendol which is the signature dine in the shop is not as nice as the one we had along the streets with our sweat dropping. The Penang chendol this time gave me a disappointment. Not as nice as the one I had along the streets. The price here is slightly more expensive as we are paying for the environment 😛

The Penang Teowchew Laksa is not really above par as well based on Penang standard. The taste is a bit fishy smell. Not much delighting

Taste:
Fried Carrot Cake: 5/5
Penang Road Teochew Laksa: 1/5
Penang Road Famous Chendol: 2/5

Price:
Fried Carrot Cake: RM 5.50
Penang Road Teochew Laksa:RM4.50
Penang Road Famous Chendol:RM 5.00

Food Type: Non – Halal
Payment Terms: Cash

Location: Along KOMTAR WALK., Jalan Penang, 11000 Penang
