Birthday Meal @ Siam Express, Queensbay Mall, Penang

January 23, 2010 by StrawberrY Gal

On my trip back Penang, dear’s birthday we had our lunch in an authentic Thai Restaurant which is located inside Queensbay Mall. They have their daily promo meal where we went to have them this time

HP, Me and dear ordered the promo set which comes with a tomyam soup, the main course and a drink. The tomyam here is nice and quite spicy as well.

HP ordered the Belacan Chicken Rice Set which it is served with it serves with a fried rice and chicken on it as well a fried popiah on it as well. The taste was not bad and taste wise is not bad.

As for dear, he ordered the Tomyam Fried Rice Set. Comparing dear does not like much on the tomyam fried rice set but on the look of it is more like Nasi Pataya. The taste is not too nice and not spicy as well.

As for me, i ordered the usual Pinepple fried rice. The pineapple fried rice taste kinda nice and recomended. It is being fried with pineapple as well as minced chicken. The taste is quite nice.

What i can say, the tomyam soup here is delighting

As for me, i am for sure to order my love- water chestnut as my desert and the taste is also quite nice.

Overall the meal is not bad
