Ikan Panggang and Kam Heong Sotong @ Bayan Bay, Bukit Jambul. Penang

Bayan Bay which is one of the food craving place which is located in the Pearl of Orient, Penang is also famous for local hawker delights.

I had promised dear to take him for ikan panggang craving which is BBQ fish craving in Penang.. and this stall is famous for the Ikan Panggang.
There are many choices of fishes that you may use to make a nice ikan panggang but many will prefer stingray which is a common use for ikan panggang.

Me and dear ordered one sting ray as well as one squids kam heong.. which is this stall specialty. Both this are more common delicious food in Penang which is commonly being found. The waiting time will be a bit long as they want to make sure that is well BBQ. We waited about 15- 20 minutes for them to served and maybe it is due to peak time so it will be a bit slower.

The stingray is nice and delicious as the sting ray is not a big one so the meat will be smooth as well as is fresh so they don have a kind of weird smell. With the chilies which is provided, the taste is even nicer and the spicy taste is which i love the most .. oishi desu…

As for the sotong, the taste is nice but not as spicy as the sting ray and the sotong is well cooked and it is not that hard to munch. The way they cooked also had added some Indian style cooking which added some leaves to make it nicer and smells nicer. emm… when thinking and blogging this, my taste bud already thinking of having this again on my next trip back Penang.
