IKUZO RAMEN, SS2 (INVITED REVIEW)
A Ramen Revolution is erupting in SS2 and you can have a wallet-friendly ramen here. Ikuzo ramen is one of the affordable ramen in SS2. As usual, the price of Ramen is kinda high but Ikuzo thinks that every person deserve a good quality and affordable ramen which all ramen are lower than RM 10.90.
Most of the Japanese restaurants mark up high prices for ramen, however, Ikuzo thinks that every person deserve a good quality and affordable ramen, therefore, all their ramens' pricing are lower than RM10.90. The place serves a nice and affordable ramen which gives everyone a chance to taste them. The restaurant also stress that they are using fresh ingridients in the food preparation and there is absolutely no MSG added into it.
The restaurant is filled up with the nice eye-catching posters all over where you can purchase them from the shop as well. The shop is simply clean and well made to cater for lunch as well as place for family and friends. The interior design of the restaurant is giving me a mix of the fusion of Japanese and western styles. In the restaurant, you may have a choice of 4 types of ramen and you may choose around 18 styles of preperation for the ramen. This includes Original Thin, Spicy Thin, Original Thick and also Spicy Thick.
Yakiniku Ramen is where the beef slices is being marinated and being grilled. It is then being served together with the cabbage kimuchi and served in the the shoyu based soup.

Next is the Cha Shu Ramen where the noodles is being served with 5 awsome peces of the porky cha-shu and added with their signature shoyu-based soup. It is seved together with the seaweed and the spring onions. The meal is simple simple adn yet it is indeed a superb ramen to choose for

HO WENG KEE, SS2
Ho Weng Kee is the restaurant which is being featured in Chui Leng Book " One Day Five Meals". The restaurant is serving noodles and it is famous its wantan noodles. The restaurant is not alike those high class restaurant but it is an old restaurant which serves the nice wantan mee.
This round, we had a chance to grab a meal of wantan noodles there. The noodles is nice and tender with the filling wantan too be served together. The overall meal is simply nice and it is a MUST to eat when you are there. You can have them with braised chicken feet and mushroom, curry chicken, prawn dumplings,beef, shredded chicken meat, and so on. I usually prefer mine the old fashion way, dried noodle with char siu, and a small bowl of wan tan soup with spring onion served separately.

RETRO KITCHEN, SS2 (INVITED REVIEW)
Retro Kitchen brings you back to memories lane with their 50's and 60's deco, provides you a cozy and comfort place for coffee. The place is comfortably located above the 7-11 and it is at the same row of AmBank. Retro Kitchen is a place which you may enjoy your moments with friends and relative for a cup of coffee as well as having a classical music with the western fusion dine here. The place is simply nice place to enjoy the oldies and looking back on the 70s feel.
GRUMPS, SS2 MALL
Grumps is a place where they have been serving the Italian fare in SS2 Mall. The mall is kinda new and the restaurant is serving the mouth watering German Crispy Pork Knuckle. They have open this branch not long ago and they have another branch is Plaza Kelana Jaya. This round, we had made a visit to the restaurant ever since I spotted the shop there and I always wanted to have their pork knuckle.
To start with we ordered their signature Turkey Ham Sandwich. The sandwich is well made and being toasted. The ham is serving with the 3 layer sandwiches as well as served together with fries as well.

ISENBIN, SS2
This round we are going for Isenbin. Isenbin is a place for dessert located in SS2. Hmm.. looks like SS2 have plenty of dessert shops blooming like UFO, Ice Bowl and now there goes another one which is Isenbin. Isenbin is located the same row as Eu Yan Sang and its just next to Starbucks. The restaurant is alike Snowflakes and they also have variety of choices to be chosen.
