KENNEDY’S, KOTA DAMANSARA (INVITED REVIEW)

Love Western? I had always in love with western delights and we had found a new place of dine this round. There is a shop in Kota Damansara as they do serves nice and good western meals with the nice ambience as well as affordable fare. The shop is located at the same row as Pappa Rich and just a few blocks away from the Bank Islam in Kota Damansara. The shop is well designed with the feel of Hollywood with many movie characters of the movies stars on the wall.

We start off our meals with their soup of the day. The soup of the day which is being prepared is the brocolli cream soup where the broccoli is being pureed and added to a creamy broth. The brocolli soup is simply nice with the soft texture of the soup and the aroma of the vegetable.

Wok Dish Way is one of the places where where you can find the authentic Hakka Meals. What is the most famous among the Hakkas and it is said to be a healthy meal too. "Lei Cha" is getting hard to find now and if you are a fan of "Lei Cha", you may hop to the Wok Dish to grab a taste of it. To start with, we are invited to review on the food here and the shop is located just opposite Courts and a few blocks away.
The Lei Cha ( 擂茶) is the Hakka tea-based beverage or gruel consisting of a mix of tea leaves and herbs that are ground or pounded together with various roasted nuts, seeds, and grains. The Buzidao Lei Cha (步滋道擂茶) is being served in Wok Way Dish comes with two styles where the rice can be served with the plain rice or with the fried rice.

The Buzidao Lei Cha (步滋道擂茶) comes with the set with assorted vegetables like cabbage, dried radish, plenty of nuts,chopped long beans, tofu, pickled as well as fresh vegetable. The meal is complete when you poured the Lei Cha into the rice and the ingridients into it.

GONG FU KITCHEN, THE STRAND
Gong Fu Kitchen is located just beside the famous Nyonya Cuisine Shop, The Wok. The restaurant claiming that no MSG is used to ensure the authenticity in taste. This round we had our meal there with is their cheong Fun.

We ordered the Prawn Cheong Fan which comes with quite many prawns in it and the portion is kinda big. The Cheong fan is slightly starchy as well. The prawns is also quite fresh.

THE MUZEUM, THE STRAND KOTA DAMANSARA

Buying the deal from MilkaDeal and we had a dine there. The restaurant is located at The Red Carpet at The Strand. Decorated with the dim lights and romantic old songs, we had our dine there. The Muzeum is the name of it.

D.U Café Restaurant is a typical non-halal food court situated in Dataran Sunway. The restaurant has a large variety of food like Char Kuey Teow, Duck Meat Kuey Teow Soup, popiah, grill seafoods, and many more.

Asam laksa is from one of the famous stall in Penang which is located in Jalan Penang. The asam laksa is well made and the gravy is very thick. The taste overall in quite nice and delicious.
