OLD ASIA, 1 UTAMA
Old Asia Café is one of the places which I don't realize whenever I am in 1 Utama. During my recent shopping there, we spotted this shop and have a try of it since I have not tried them before. We had made our visit to the café for our dinner where we are being served with a large variety of local delights.
This round we are trying the Fish Paste Noodles. The Fish paste is well made with the sweet taste bites from the fish it seld and the fish paste is kinda tender. As for the noodles, the noodles are well cooked as well.

PARENT DAY PROMOTION AT BAR.B.Q PLAZA, 1 UTAMA (INVITED REVIEW)
Parent Day is coming and what the plan of the year is for dine with your parents? Now, Bar B.Q plaza is bringing everyone back in team enjoying the meals together. In conjunction with the coming Parents' Day, Bar-B-Q Plaza has launched the Happy Parents' Day Set which is only available from 12th to 13th May and 16th to 17th June 2012. The meals comes with the 1 set of Korean family set, Thai Fish Cake, Cronquette, Jasmine Tea and Honey Peach Tea (2)
Bar B Q Plaza is a self-cooking Mongolian and Japanese style barbeque restaurant. The restaurant focuses on the selection of high-quality meats and vegetables where customers can experience self-grilling. Such cooking experience makes dining at Bar B Q Plaza enjoyable and mesmerizing. The meal is also accompanied by specially prepared sauce, which tastes just right for grilled food. This round, we are being invited to review their upcoming promotion from the shop itself for their Parent’s Day Promotion.

AK NOODLE HOUSE, 1 UTAMA
AK Noodles is one my visit when I am in 1 Utama. This shopping complex is one of my favorite place of visit where they have what I want. They had revamp the old wing of the mall and now the "OLD" wing looks like "NEW"- hmm.. can I say the "NEW" Old Wing. AK Noodles is well located at the Lower Ground of the mall and the shop is serving Yong Tau Fu and noodles.
We had tried some of their dishes there and we ordered the curry laksa noodles. The laksa noodles was nicely made and with the soft and smooth texture of the noodles. The base soup is well made with lots of santan taste and not too spicy. The overall of the noodles is delicious.

OYSTER KING, 1 UTAMA
Oyster King is one of the shop which is always packed when you are in The Gardens, Mid Valley. Recently, the shop had open a franchise in 1 Utama and I had made a chance to go there and have a try. It is alike hawker stalls where it is served as "oh chien" (oyster omelette) but is HIGH class style.

- The Superior Lala Soup-
We make an order of Oyster Noodles which is being served in set where they comes with the Superior Lala Soup and a drink. The oyster noodles is not as good as I had try due to the flavor of yellow noodles can be tasted. The Lala Soup is kinda tasty where it is served with tong fun together with the soup.

WANDX PATISSERIE, 1 UTAMA
Wandx Patisserie is a unique place where you can find unique tarts.I spotted this shop located at 1 Utama Shopping Mall and they offers more than 20 variety of tarts, ranging from sweet to savory. After I saw the beautiful color of the tar, I could not resist buying 3 chocies of tarts back home to try.
Pineapple and Ham tarts are having the savory flavor with a slight salty flavor in it. This is perhaps is due to the ham which had made the tart slightly salty.
