MEET FRESH, GURNEY PLAZA
After the Snowflakes, the business of the Taiwanese Desserts is getting more popular and Meet Fresh (鮮芋仙) Originating from Taiwan (obviously) and with branches as far as China and Australia, Meet Fresh recently opens two outlets in Penang which is in Gurney Plaza as well as Gurney Paragon. The orignal 2 masters Mr. and Mrs.Fu originated from Central Taiwan believe that cooking desert in traditional way still the best way to preserve traditional taste of it. It is made daily by handmade of those taro balls and afew other ingredients to ensure customer enjoy freshness of it. It do serves a variety of ice desserts, tofu puddings and drinks.
We had made a choice of the herbal jelly selection where we taste the sweet potato, barley and pearls. The set which is being served comes together with a small cup of cream. It is added to more enhanced on the flavors itself and the texture overall is good. The taro ball is kinda chewy and the taste bite of it is not bad but compare to Snowflakes, I still prefer Snowflakes.

AROY CHANG MOO KATA, PULAU TIKUS
Ever hear of Aroy Chang Moo Kata? The restaurant which is along Lorong Burmah opposite Wat chayamangkalaram is a place to have Thai Cuisine. The restaurant which is opened by the Thai, the restaurant is furnished is simple decoration. As that, we had visited the restaurant this round as we are nearby the area.
The restaurant is serving steamboat but we did not ordered the steamboat but we ordered their set meal this round. There is a variety of set meal to be choosen from RM 6.50 onwards
The set meal which we had ordered:

Gaeing Kiew Warn Set where the set is served with Green Curry Chicken with the Homemade Thai Fish Cake a rice as well as a Clear Tomyam Soup with Fishball. The Green Curry Chicken is being cooked in coconut milk with chicken, eggplants, lime leaves, sweet basil leaves,long beans and fresh shredded chilies. The Curry Chicken taste is not really spicy but as for the Tomyam it gives me a disappointment as it is not served hot. The tomyam which is served are warm only.

THE LITTLE NYONYA CUISINE, GURNEY PLAZA
The Little Nyonya Cuisine is located at the Gurney Plaza Basement where the restaurant offers a wide range of nyonya delights. The restaurant starts tehir business during August and it is always pack with custimer during the lunch and dinner time.
This round, I am having my lunch there and enjoyng the Nasi Lemak Special. The Nasi Lemak Special comes with the coconut rice, served with sambal ikan bilis, papadam as well as a piece of fried chicken with it. The portion is kinda big which is enough to serve me and my dad.

We also ordered the Nasi Lemak Otak Otak where the coconut rice come with papadam as well as sambal ikan bilis and a plate of the seafood otak otak. The otak otak is simply delicious and the portion is quite big. The texture is also very smooth.

Chicken Satay meat is also very tender and the satay is full of meat. The satay comes with the nice sauce and some cucumbers as well as onions.

Max Gourmet at Gurney Plaza is perhaps the best place to go, for a cheap, good and reasonably fast meal. The meals in the restaurant are many from dim sum to Chinese Cuisine. This round, I am going for dim sum there where the dim sum are having lots variety which inclides siew long pau, har kao, siew mai and more.
The meal which I ordered is the "One Bite" Mini Dumpling. The mini Dumpling is kinda normal where the meat is not is nothing to shout about. The skin is slightly thick as well.

GELATISSIMO, GURNEY PLAZA
Gelatissimo is a small shop lot along the Gurney Place. It is located at the end if you are walking from Winter Warmers. Gelatissimo's award winning gelato is made fresh daily in store to an authentic family recipe. Why I have Gelatissimo? It is said that the ice cream are flavorful, rich and creamy, and health-conscious. It has less calories and fat.
This round,I am craving for the Rum & Raisins Flavour of Galeto which is very pure with the taste of rum and I am totally fall in love with it. I ordered the smallest one which is 1 Flavour cup to try and he portion is indeed a big one too.
