RESTAURANT KIM SHAN, RELAU
Kim Shan is our usual dining place in Penang due to the fair price. The restaurant serves nice food as well aside the stir fried, they also have nice satay stall, as well nice BKT.

Steam fish in thai style is a spicy dish. The steam stingray with chilly paste and a lot of chilly padi makes the soup really delicious and spicy.

Chu char at Beng Aun Coffeeshop, Relau
This trip back to Penang, I went for chu char (stir-fried ) in Beng Aun, Relau with mum, dad and dear. This stall of stirfried is originally from the next door coffeeshop and had moved a few years back which is Kim Shan.
The stir-fried here is nice.. but we don usually come here for stir-fried as the price is slightly more expensive as well It is served in big plates.. If price wise comparable to the size, is still reasonable but for small eaters is a waste as is hardly you can finish the plate of it.
So, me and dear ordered some juices which is the ambera juice. This juice is nice and is a bit of soury. It is hardly you can find them in KL .. but I used to have it in Penang which taste superbly beautiful.
We ordered a few dishes and one of my favorite is the claypot seafood. I love is so much as you ca see there is a ot of sea food inside and big prawns as well. The seafood here is very fresh. Inside the claypot you can find prawns, cuttlefish, sea cucumber and many more like mushrooms and others. Yummy!!!
Next dad ordered a simple dish which is teh Fu Yong Egg and this one I think is a Cantonese dish. This where the egg is being fried with onions and some Chinese style hot dogs.
We also ordered veges which is the fried beans with sambal which inside this dish the cook also added the dried little prawns ( ha mai) into it to fried and this make the dish even oishi
And the last one is my favorite which is the Kam Heung Sea Shell. I love Kam Heung a lot is because of the Indian leaves which is added to the dish which make the whole dish smells nice and yummy. Taste wise it is a bit of spicy.
Overall this meal is nice

Kim Shan Seafood @ Relau, Penang, Aug 2009
Kim Shan Seafood is one of the place which I always went for meal whenever I back to Penang and the food here is kinda nice.. but this time seems like quality drop. This time, is dear first time with me to this shop for makan…and lets see what we order. There is several of meals which is kinda attracted me to order since I am less in Penang now.
Dad ordered the bak kut teh where there is a lot of ingridient with cheap price. The overall charges of a large bowl of Bak Kut Teh + additional of intestins and all just cost us about RM 15. Is called cheap and nice.
Other than that, we had several food as well which covers the ikan pari which is quite nice..but this time not nice liao .. cause the fish is an old fish and the meat is not nice.. so i don really love it.
We also ordered the spicy har koh which is not really nice as well. The har koh is not really nice as there is much flour than the meat which i don really love it

Dinner @ Kim Shan
In Penang and have my dinner at Kim Shan, my usual nice place for dinner as because this shop have nice food as well as prices of food are reasonable. Other thing as u can ordered inclusive of Bak Kut Teh and Satay for add on beside the chu char
- Sweet and sour Pork –
Today we ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork which is my favorite. This sweet and sour pork is not very hard but the taste is simply nice. Other than that, the sauce is simply oishi .. very sweet and bit of sour which make it more mouth watering
-Fu Yong Tan( Egg) -
Fu Yong Tan is mainly a dish we are able to have in wedding dinner under the 4-season combination. It is cooked with shredded shark fin, egg as well as some onions and cabbage. I love the fu yong tan as the taste is like the restaurant taste which is really a delighting one
-Bak Kut Teh -
Dad also ordered Bak Kut Teh from the stalls around the coffeeshop and this bak kut teh is cheap and nice. Wat can I say on this bak kut teh.. is cheap and the ingredients is simply a lot.
and we just pay only RM 15 for the big hot bowl of bak kut teh.. and the herbs smell is very nice.
- seafood tom yam -
Lastly, I ordered the tomyam.. and the tomyam is simply hot and burning.. that’s nice..cause I can find lots of chilly paddy inside.. and wat I love I just chuck in which includes fishballs as well as sotong.. wahhahaha.. and the bowl of tomyam cost me less that RM 6

Fried Tang Hoon and Hokkien Mee Kedai Makanan KiKi, Sg Ara Market
Kedai Makanan Kiki is not a famous food place but they served nice food as well. It is located in Sungai Ara around the Sg Ara market area. .. which is kinda hard to find. It served nice fried tang hoon .. which tang hoon has been one of my favorite food. The tang hoon here is well fried and it s nice. its not so watery which I ate some where before. and I could not even wanna touch them the second time.
- Fried Tang Hoon -
The Hokkien Mee or is called prawn mee.. is also not bad.. mum fully recommended the prawn mee as it is not that salty as well the price is cheap. Futhermore, it served is kinda big bowl compare to town area.
