Fried Porridge in Kulim, Kedah
Fried Porridge was very well known in Kulim.. which i know from a coursemate staying dere. The restaurant is Big Tree Restaurant. It's situated on the right hand side on the main road when u use the Lunas exit from the BKE(Butterworth-Kulim Expressway) and head to Kulim town.
The price of a bowl is just RM4.00 and you doesn't need any side dishes as it already got it's unique taste. So, if you happens to be in Kulim and want to try out Fried Porridge, you can head to this restaurant. By the way, it's open at night also although the sign shows until 4pm only.

Hong Tat Kopitiam Chai Koay @ Kulim
Love Chai Koay??Chai kuey in Hong Tat Kopitiam of Kulim town. Chai Kuey actually is a Chinese snack food from Teow Chew(潮州). Inside the chai koay will have Ku chai @ tubber onion wrap by thin flour skin. The thinner the skin it could be, the more deicious it could be. Of course, the ingredient must be very fresh.The chai kuey that I found here is very sellable. The owner of the stall start her business before lunch time & always finish around 4pm. The most important is her chai kuey are just stim. You can feel the heat once you put in the mouth. However, the combination of taste, chewiness & content of this chai kuey still have room to improve.

i been to SP today .. and found out something different.. my fav laksa is different.. haha.. comparable to Penang Laksa .. now i understand why my frens from SP can eat spicy laksa wif lots of the hot hot ....and little chillies..
i kinda not much like it.. cause is more spicy than the one i have in Penang which is bit sweet.. haha.. nice also but jus i have to drink a lot of water after makan the stall of laksa.. at this small town. The laksa is real cheap just RM 2.50 and is located opposite a famous tuition centre in SP named Do Re Mi.
