Mee rebus @ Taman Ros, Teluk Intan
One of the famous Mee Rebus stall is located in Teluk Intan where dear took me back to his hometown to try for that. The Mee Rebus shop had been opened a long time ago and it is said to have a few branches in the town. The food wise is simply nice.
What I can say about the mee rebus is the taste is very nice and the sauce is not too starchy. There is nice taufu and egg added into the mee as well as tau kua and others as well. The most famous is the boiled noodle served with a gravy that is both (moderately) spicy and sweet called 'Mee Rebus'; the most famous being from Mastan Ghani. besides the famous mee rebus they also served Nasi Kandar.
The shop only opened during the late morning till evening. So, if you have got a chance you can go there to have a try. As for the drinks, we just snap them since we had ordered them

Fish fillet rice @ Kim Gary, Sungei Wang
The volume is quite big and heavy as we usually ordered one and shared between both of us. The food here is rather not bad and service wise is still acceptable. As being a member, monthly I will have a special entitlement which this month will be the chips and chicken. This is where they served us with fried chips and some chicken to try. The taste is indeed a delighting one and is a thumb up for this.
Overall the meal was nice and delighting

Melaka durian chendol, chendol , Nyonya Laksa and Yong Tau Fu at Jonker 88, Jonker street
In our trip to Melaka, we never miss the authentic Malacca Chendol which is a suprise for me. There have two types of Chendol in Melaka which one is the normal chendol with Gula Melaka ( Brown Sugar) and another is the Durian Chendol. So, me and dear ordered both of this to taste.
The Chendol which is the normal one is full of santan and Gula Melaka where it is very sweet compare to the Penang chendol. Ingridient wise is the same except Penang chendol does not have gula Melaka on it. Overall the taste is not bad except too sweet
As for durian chendol, the taste of the strong smell from the king of fruit is there. This is where the slices of the flash of the king of fruit is scattered around the chendol itself as an addittional ingredients or to say an Add-On on to the chendol itself. This one is even sweeter as the chendol itself with the Gula Melaka is considerable sweet and with the add on of the durian fresh, the taste is even more sweeter than ever
Overall, i still prefer Penang chendol.. but the taste is really special and with the special old historical house i am sitting to enjoy the chendol ..
We also ordered the Nyonya laksa as well as the Yong Tau Fu to try. The Nyonya Laksa is some sort of Lemak Laksa to me and the taste is not much delighting. The ingridients i can say there is a different taste of it where Penang Laksa is more sour and for this is more spicy instead.
As for the Yong Tau Fu, the taste is so so .. Not really to say is really nice but taste buds wise is acceptable

Meals at TI- latta Tea House @ Teluk Intan
Back to Teluk Intan and this time we went a different place for meal with dear family. This place is considering a kinda high class restaurant in Teluk Intan. The place is actually kind of special.. i supposed the owner loves the old artists like Elvis, the Beetles and all. The place is a bit cozy and dark when inside there is quite a romantic place with the old poster of great artist like Elvis and all.
From the inside view, you can feel a romantic environment with dimmed lights and a bit of old house kampung style. The way of the design not attracts much youngsters but a lot of 40s as well as uncle and auntie.
With this, our drinks which we ordered which make it kind of special is the Honeydew Milk fruit juice which is nice and very KAU... The drinks here are blended with pure fruit and you can taste the good texture of the fruits.
Dear mum love the Sa Poh Mee or its called claypot mee in english. The clay pot mee is actually mee which is cooked with a claypot with vegetables, mushrooms some chicken or pork mee, slices of carrots and some an a egg on top which is not fully cooked. So, you need to mix with the noodles together before you eat.. I can say it is simply nice.. and recommended.
As for me, i ordered the Black Pepper chicken rice which the taste is not bad.. just it is not spicy enough. Overall I can say is real nice not comparing on the spicy of the chicken. The chicken is not a drumstick but some call a minced chicken meat which is well cooked and tender.
Lastly is dear set which is a western. Dear ordered the Wow Wow Chicken Chop.. which i see the portion is quite big. Thy includes some sorts like sausage ham spring roll which the taste is kinda special and delicious. The taste is simply nice and delighting as well. The chicken is being fried and added with some sauce. Overall dear's set is nice too.
I ordered ABC . What i can say that the ABC is kind of a failure among all. I don really like them as the taste is too sweet and the ingredients is less.

Restaurant Lorong Seratus Tahun is said to be one of the famous restaurant for Penang food. The last time i been there is a disappointment and this time i am back after the renovation is really a delighting meal. Wondering if they had changed their cook not, but the food taste had improved a lot comparing my last trip there.
As for this time, we ordered Curry Mee and prawn mee. As for drinks, i ordered the Hot Coffee and dear ordered Pat Poh Lime which is one of the specialist in Penang.
It served us with the hot coffee and the Pat Poh lime. The coffee is indeed very nice which you can taste the very delighting smell of coffee and the milky taste of it. The coffee was really nice and it really smooth coffee smell.
As for the pat poh, the taste is simply delighting which in this, the pat poh which is made is real thick and nice.
Dear ordered the Prawn Mee ( Penang Hokkien Mee) which taste simply delighting as well. The prawn mee had the thick taste of prawn smell and the volume is a big one as well. The taste of the soup is really alike the one in Penang.
As for the curry mee, the taste was really nice and delighting with the heavy taste of coconut and the best thing is you can add the chilly paste as much as you want to have them as well. Overall, the meal is simply delighting and much recomended.
